20 Feb 2013, from Niall Carroll to Sarah Daniel

Hi Sarah,

I have been meaning to e-mail you these past few days to thank you for the Verdi CD, which I received this week. Also, I have just finished your husband’s book which you sent me and have been a bit blown away by it!

Wow, what a life you both have led, what a career he has enjoyed. It’s a fantastic collection of stories and experiences. I found myself starting to delve back into certain parts towards the beginning shortly after finishing it.

It will never be too far away from my grasp in future.

Thanks to you for sharing it with me and please express my thanks and admiration to Prof. Wassermann.

Regards,

Niall Carroll

Dear Niall,

Thank you for your lovely review of my book.  I would like your permission to place a copy of it on my website.

It has been very difficult to promote sales of the book outside of County Galway.  It would be very helpful if you published your reaction on Amazon.  That would be a big help.

In addition to the adventure stories, did you find that the book opened any doors or moved your life forward in any way?  I’d be very interested in hearing if that was part of your reaction.

Harvey Wasserman

Hi Harvey,

You may certainly use that on your website. I will include something on Amazon. Apart from the stories, I found the searing honesty about your own life and childhood to be very striking. I’ve never thought much about therapy and its importance up to now but I think you’ve changed my attitude towards it.

The opening essays on Fear of Success and your musings on Fear in general have left the greatest impression on me thus far although as I wander through the book once more, that may very well change.

Regards,

Niall
